A nice little street art initiative in Sao Paulo is The Wallride Project. It is a project created by the conceptual artist Ale Jordão, with help from CINCOUM branding agency. The aim of the project is to promote and show art in Sao Paulo, by offering everyone who lives in the city free access to art, especially in the city centre.
Every 2 months a different artist is invited to show their art in the space. Currently the third artist is in the process of setting up the wall, which brings an end to Alex Hornest’s work (see their website for images and films of the previous 2 instalments) which has been up for the past 2 months and who replaced Sesper, who had the first honors.
This time around the WallRide Project creator Ale Jordão is himself responsible for the artwork, see the flyer above, called ‘Desepego – Thrash Away’, and the photo teaser from their Facebook account:
