UPDATE: This exhibition has been extended, and will now run until December 11th, so an extra week to get out and see it!

I’m a huge fan of Mundano, his work is easy to find across the city, and if you have spent any time in Sao Paulo then you’re probably familiar with his pieces, maybe the excellent work he has done as part of ‘pimp my carroca‘, or the familiar protest comments against social and environmental issues.

He is currently showing some of his work in one of the most interesting spaces in Sao Paulo, the Passagem Literária da Consolação (Consolação Literary Passage) a converted underpass below one of the busiest crossings in town on the corner of Avenida Paulista and Consolação (adjacent to Metro station Paulista). Right in front of the now shut down Belas Artes Cinema. You can watch a video about the show Tempos Mundanos and Mundano below. In addition to exhibiting more than 60 works by Mundano questioning the mundane times (tempos mundanos) in which we are living, the space is used for the sale of second hand books. The passage is open all week except Sundays, check the hours below.

Tempos Mundanos runs until the 5th December, 2013. (NOW RUNNING UNTIL 11th DECEMBER)

Where: Passagem Literária da Consolação (corner of Consolação with Av.Paulista)

When: Monday to Friday from 7h30 to 19h30, Saturday from 10h to 19h30. Closed on Sundays.  (FREE)
