Having already been involved in the Coca Cola world cup project, Speto, the Brazilian street artist from Sao Paulo, has been involved in another major brand’s world cup project. This time Speto continues a partnership with Levi’s and was involved as the curator of their special World Cup campaign and collection – Equipped to dream. The project is an interesting one, involving collaboration between Speto and the NGO Spectaculu, and a number of young artists who produced the designs for the range. The four masculine models of T-shirts are shown below, all representing the artists visions of Brazil and Brazilian culture.
The designs above were produced by four students from the NGO Spectaculu, who worked with and received talks by Speto before coming up with their designs which were chosen for the campaign. The four students can be seen in the following video which explains a little more about the campaign and how the students came up with their ideas. This collection is currently on sale in the Levi’s stores, and is a limited edition and exclusive to Brazil. The jackets feature the Speto logo printed on the inside, the t-shirts do not (Click the image to expand and read the message from Speto)
