Once again the non-stop revolving door of a street art gallery, A7MA will change its exhibition next weekend, when the Ricardo AKN exhibition will end and the latest edition will begin. (Note: today, 24th June, is actually the last day of this exhibition and all the pieces are on promotion today, in order to raise funds for his next project).
Saturday will be Jerry Batista’s time to show off his work in his exhibition entitled “Lembranças e Memórias” (Souvenirs and Memories). Jerry Batista is a veteran of the Sao Paulo graffiti scene, his career spanning 18 years. Originally from Grajaú to the South of Sao Paulo. His work can be seen across Brazil and has exhibited across the globe.
The only photo in my archive I could find of Jerry Batista’s work was this one below taken in Vila Madalena a few years ago. Below the picture is a video of Jerry Batista talking about some of his work and ideas for this exhibition.
WHEN: Opens Saturday June 28 at 10:00. And runs until August 03, 2014. Monday to Saturday from 11am to 8pm. Free Entry.
WHERE: A7MA, Rua Harmonia 95, Vila Madalena, São Paulo, Brazil
