Possibly the the most active of all the current street artists in Sao Paulo, it seems that Enivo has left his mark on almost every spot around the city, looking through my pictures I have an absolute abundance of pictures, more than any other artist I can think of. He also used to and still does I believe sometimes use the name Tempo.
Anyway, this time his work will be contained within the walls of the excellent A7MA gallery in Vila Madalena, a must visit spot in Sao Paulo for any street art fan, and regularly mentioned on this blog, situated right in front of the infamous Beco do Batman (Batman Alley), one of the best known and most photographed graffiti spots in the city. The exhibition is called Âmago, meaning Core, or soul..or something along those lines, and the exhibition’s content is about a search beyond the two dimensions, thus expect layers, and relief. I’ve never been a fan of explanations of exhibitions, and trying to translate them is not my idea of fun, so I’ll leave it at that. The artist advises that it is not about asthetic or decoration, it is art.
Check out the photos of his work out and about in Sao Paulo, which will give an idea for those unfamiliar with the artist.
