UPDATE (15/11/14): Bit late on the update, but it is still available, whopping price tag of R$ 3,378.00 – the print is 50 x 70 cm, so certainly not cheap!, here us what it looks like.
Eduardo Kobra, the relentless Sao Paulo street artist and muralist is doing more things than I can actually keep track of. Painting huge walls, shop fronts and shopping centers left right and centre across Sao Paulo, and and the world it seems (he is currently in or on his way to California to paint a building in the centre of San Francisco), but still finding time to endorse Perrier water and even McDonald’s fries. This time he is releasing what he claims to be his first screen print. It will be a limited, signed and numbered, edition of 100 prints. I expect that the price will be fairly high due to the popularity of the artist.
The print will be released on November 12th, on the artists website www.eduardokobra.com
The only clue so far is from the picture above (from Kobra’s facebook page), which shows that the screen print will be characteristicly colourful. Check out my photos of Kobra’s work from around Sao Paulo..
