The annual Arte da Vila Madalena event will take place this Saturday and Sunday (April 12, 13).
There will be 57 different addresses made up of galleries, studios and museums, which will open their doors to the public and showing the work of more than 150 different artists. There are even 16 mini-buses available which will transport people from Vila Madelena metro station to the studios, on three different circuits – free of charge!
One gallery which will be open and part of the Arte de Vila Madalena circuit is Parede Viva – where they will be showing work from their archives which includes big names from the Brazilian urban art scene – painting, prints and watercolors. In addition, the artist urban artis from Sao Paulo PADO will be painting the front of the gallery with his three-dimensional art

On the Sunday from 10 till 13H, there is a walking tour of the main areas of graffiti in Vila Madalena, and at the end a graffiti workshop at Espaço Amor. This needs to be pre-booked by email (firstname.lastname@example.org) and there is a R$30 charge.
At 18h30 also at Espaço Amor, the there will be a projection of the video-graffiti from the ‘camadas’ project with Agel Pimenta and Yá!.

– A7MA – which is currently showing Brincando Com Coisa Séria – Bieto . As well as this show the gallery also has its archives and a good selection of prints and artwork available from a variety of artists.
– Atelie Geleria Priscila Mainieri, (Rua Isabel de Castela, 274 – Vila Madalena) currently has the Rolinho Bros (RiR & Pixotosco) -Exhibition “A Carranca e o Dragão”
