“Ferro, fogo e luz azul” – Arnaldo Pandolfo at A7MA

The name Pandolfo may sound familiar, that’s because we are talking about the older brother of street arts most famous Brazilian twins Gustavo and
Otavio, or OS GEMEOS as they are more commonly known. Anyway the older brother of the arnaldo-pandolfolegendary OS GEMEOS will definitely not be painting any yellow faced characters or brightly coloured murals. It seems Arnaldo Pandolfo is a mechanic at heart, and has turned his hand to art, so as the name “Ferro, fogo e luz azul”  (Iron, fire and blue light) suggests, the work will revolve around metal and welding.

Arnaldo Pandolfo or Naldo as he seems to be referred to by his younger brothers, was born in 1963 and apparently had a preference from an early age to play with iron and cans instead of plastic. He began his artistic career in 2005 and has been involved in 2 exhibitions prior to “Ferro, Fogo e Luz Azul” which opens on Saturday September 13 at A7MA Gallery in Vila Madalena. See the teaser video below..

You can find a bit more about Arnaldo Pandolfo on his own website, which shows some of his previous creations.
