Alex Senna exhibition – ‘Tempo’ at Tag Gallery

Alex Senna exhibition 'Tempo' at Tag Gallery

There are a lot of interesting exhibitions currently taking place in Sao Paulo, and this Saturday adds yet another to the list. One of Sao Paulo’s most recognizable street artists Alex Senna is opening his exhibition entitled ‘Tempo’ (Time) at the Tag Gallery in the center of town, which replaces the Onesto show that was being shown.

Alex Senna has been winning lots of fans over the last few years with his tell-tale black and white illustration style street art, and this is an exhibition well worth visiting. In addition to his black and white paintings he has also produced a sculpture, which will be on display in the square in front of the gallery. His work often shows everyday moments and the idea is to slow down time in the otherwise chaotic and accelerated city, and show the importance of self reflection and real feelings.

You can see some of my photos of Alex Senna‘s work from the streets of Sao Paulo below.

WHEN: Opening May 30th, from 15h to 21h. And then Wednesday to Saturdays from 14h to 17h, until June 22nd.  FREE ENTRY
